Dimmi.

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 1, 2026

DIMMI is a phrasebook app that helps travelers build and speak sentences in Italian, Spanish, and French. It was designed from the start to work entirely on your device, and this policy is short because there is very little to tell.

The short version

What stays on your device

The app stores the following locally on your phone, and nowhere else: phrases you save; your settings (theme, chosen language, speaker-gender preference, last-used context); and whether you've seen the intro. Deleting the app deletes all of it. We have no copy.

Purchases

DIMMI offers an auto-renewing monthly subscription and a one-time lifetime purchase. Payment is handled entirely by Apple through your Apple ID — we never see your name, email, address, or payment details.

To validate purchases and unlock the app across reinstalls, we use RevenueCat, a purchase-infrastructure provider. RevenueCat receives your App Store purchase receipt and a randomly generated anonymous identifier — not your name, email, or anything that identifies you personally. This data is used only to answer the question "has this installation paid?" and is not used for advertising or tracking. You can read RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

You can manage or cancel the subscription anytime in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

What we do NOT do

Children

DIMMI is not directed at children under 13, and since the app collects no personal information, no personal information is collected from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If DIMMI's behavior ever changes in a way that affects your privacy (for example, if we add optional anonymous analytics), this policy will be updated and the effective date changed before that version ships.
